Laptops
If you’re taking on-line virtual lessons, getting everybody to huddle around a laptop may be better than using a tablet or iPad on its own. It’s easier for your kids to multitask and take notes or complete any exercises given during virtual lessons while they are listening and participating. Fortunately, we offer a very wide variety of laptops which come in various sizes to suit your kids’ needs. Laptops are portable like tablets and light to carry around, meaning they also givr your kids’ the possibility of having the lesson anywhere in the house.

While it’s way more economical to be paperless, sometimes you just need a printout. Tablets
Instead of following boring textbooks, get a tablet or iPad. There are different sizes to choose from, and with a stylus, your kids can make better use of big screen tablets for notes or sketching. There are also many apps that take handwritten notes and turn them into typed ones. If you’re worried about the tablet being a distraction, lots of tablets (and most apps) come with parental controls, that way you can stay in control of their screen time.
Headphones
If your kids are following virtual lessons which include lots of videos for child-specific learning, then you’ll definitely want to get them a pair of earbuds or headphones, especially if you have more than one child. That way, they can all be working at the same time and in the same area under your supervision, without being distracted by one another. Headphones or earphones come in a variety of colours and features, most of them nowadays come with Bluetooth features and are wireless, which make them more kid friendly.
Monitors
If you already own a tablet, iPad, or laptop and find that the display is too small, you may find that your child could benefit from hooking up to a monitor which has a larger display. A monitor is a far better way to view educational websites and video streaming. Most importantly, it greatly reduces the strain on your kids’ eyes from looking at a smaller screen, or from the increased screen time due to home-schooling itself.
